Since the mid eighties Frank Baldé and Michel Waisvisz have had a very fruitful collaboration in the development of performance software.
They were early in dedicating all programming efforts to rapid live control data handling.
Frank for many years used to support Waisvisz' concerts and thus through rough live testing gained valuable experience in operating and co-desiging the work-in-progress software.

They earned the highest prize in the Bourges International competition with LiSa.

The photograph above was taken in a fancy hotel in Berlin where one of the many concerts (and dangerous last minute programming:) was being prepared.
It shows how Michel and Frank dealt with the pre-concert tension after roomservice had delivered dinner
